What we do
Fulfilling Futures seeks to better the lives of the children and communities of our partner schools in Uganda.
Our partner schools
We currently support the work of two schools in Uganda, St John Leonard’s School and Archbishop Kiwanuka School. Both schools are in the Mpigi district of Central Uganda, about 50 minutes’ drive from the capital city of Kampala.
The trustees of the charity have been involved with both these schools since 2010 when funding from the British Council allowed teachers to organise reciprocal visits with St Paul’s CE Primary School and more recently with Brunswick Primary School, both based in Brighton and Hove.
Since then we have strengthened our relationship, sharing knowledge and teaching practices with each other. The charity was set up to provide a long term structure to support the schools in Uganda with sponsorship and financial support to benefit the pupils and the wider community.

“Our school educates vulnerable children including orphans, street children and children from financially vulnerable families.
Since the inception of the school in 2007, I have witnessed a number of vulnerable young people in need of education. Widows have reached out to us needing our help ranging from education for their children to home needs like food, clothes etc.
We listened with passion to the woes of our community but overwhelmed by a multitude of numbers that needed help. Fulfilling Futures stepped in to help! Giving education to both young girls and boys has been a centre of focus. This ranges from school fees, uniforms, books and other necessities.
Giving hope to the vulnerable is such an amazing experience. Thanks to everyone who contributed; your contribution saved someone’s life!”

“My school has enrollment of 980 pupils. I would like to thank and appreciate the charity for supporting our school.
Among the projects the charity has supported us with is to buy us medicines, food and necessities for the orphans during the Coronavirus lockdowns.”
The charity has also supported us to renovate a dormitory into a classroom and library. It has also helped support our teachers.”
